On June 23, Simple Run hosted 120KM round-the-island Charity Run for National Kidney Foundation.

Simple Run is a Singapore based running club which was founded in 2014 with the intention of conducting free training for the members and help them achieve their goal for the marathons. On their fourth anniversary, they hosted a run round the island of 120KM, almost three full marathons. This activity was aimed at raising money for NKF and draw people’s attention for kidney health.

The route was divided into six sections and in each section there was one support station to help the runners complete the run, which started from Raffles, go along BV, Pioneer, Yishun, Pasir Ris and ended in E Coast. The run began at 4:00pm on 23rd June and ended the next day. Over 200 runners joined throughout the whole journey and over 50 volunteers worked overnight at various support stations to serve the runners.

As the sponsor of Simple Run, Amazfit was very happy and honored to be part of this activity. During the whole run, the runners wore the smartwatches of Amazfit, including Amazfit Stratos, Bip, Pace and Cor, which helped them record their sports data, monitor their heart race and trace their route, so that they could know their body status.

This 120KM round-the-island Charity Run had the most participants and it was the largest run in Singapore. The money collection lasted for two months, and until 23rd of June, the money that raised by Simple Run was $2996.8.

This run was very meaningful. Amazfit would like to sponsor more events like this in near future!
